As a tutor, I focus on arts and language (Spanish, English literature, writing, and reading). I graduated from Syracuse University. I lived in Madrid, Spain for four months in 2010, and spent a semester in Washington, D.C. during 2012 as part of the Maxwell in Washington program sponsored by Syracuse University. I have also worked in the Moynihan Institute of Global Affairs and the undergraduate Office of Advising and Academic Support while at Syracuse University.I like to use interactive learning tools and games to help a student understand why an answer is correct rather than simply providing the right answer. As part of a family of teachers, I have the support that I need for any student. I enjoy tutoring students individually, and look forward to working with more students.I tutor students in Spanish 1-4, English, reading, writing, essay editing, phonics, literature, grammar and mechanics, college essays, American history, European history, government, and social studies. Additionally, I work with students on a number of AP courses.In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and baking. I am originally from Springfield, Ohio.
